Simon graduated from the University of Central Lancashire, England with a Sport Management degree and is an English FA and USSF Licensed coach. He began his coaching career in England with Birmingham Metropolitan College before relocating to California where he served as Director of Youth at multiple clubs and coached in the UPSL with Valley United SC and then PSC FC. Simon is in his third spell with Encinitas Express having worked with 2 teams at the club previously with great success.

Alongside his coaching career Simon is works as Director of Placement and Recruitment for pro soccer agency PSC Soccer During this time he has assisted and facilitated in the majority of the 500+ professional player placements on the mens side and has initiated PSC’s women’s program seeing over 100 Women’s placements in Europe.  In this role he has also had the privilege of running pre-season tours for then EPL sides West Bromwich Albion and Swansea City FC.
