Juli Veee has been the mainstay of our coaching department since 1993. He heads up the coaching staff and assists teams and coaches with fundamentals, drills, coaching ideas and many other areas depending on a teams individual needs. Juli has coached youth with many other clubs and ESL is very happy to have him as our head coach.
Juli’s professional achievements include:

Anna's 2008 GU15 were one of the development stories of the season finishing off beating the first place team in their bracket and hopefully moving up to U16 AA-A. This first-year team played well all year and are expecting a strong turnout for tryouts this April. Anna takes over Caroline Harrah's 2008 GU14 White team for this coming season which will be a force to be reckoned with in the U15 AA-A North Division.

Alfredo is taking command of Steve Zug's U9 White team and is expecting great things over the next couple of seasons. Alfredo is a great teacher and game coach.

Kayvon guided the first-year BU9 Blue team in 2008 and will take over the BU 12 team in 2009.
- I was born in Tehran, Iran in 1962. I played soccer growing up in streets of Tehran with plastic balls and pine cones.
- In 1978 I moved to the US where I played soccer in the varsity team at Northwestern Senior High in Hyattsville, MD.
- In college I started playing other sports, mainly basketball and played pick up soccer from time to time.
- After the last World Cup I became excited about soccer again and started a weekly pick game with co-workers and also started playing with the Cardiff Mustangs in the Huff’n Puff league.
- I like teaching and I have a natural talent for leading and coaching people. My philosophy in coaching would be to promote skills, teamwork and sportmanship.
