About the Encinitas Soccer League
Encinitas Soccer League (ESL) is an all-volunteer,
non-profit soccer league whose mission is to provide an opportunity
for every child in the community who wants to play soccer
with the place to do so. We strive, through positive encouragement,
to provide an exciting place for children to learn and play
soccer in a structured and fun atmosphere. ESL has two Divisions,
Recreational Soccer and Competitive Soccer. We currently field
teams only during the Fall Season.
ESL
has been providing soccer opportunities for the youth of our
community for over 20 years and was formed as a 501(c)3 corporation
in 1998. We serve over 1500 youth living in Encinitas and
surrounding communities. Our players form teams starting at
the micro-soccer level through boy's and girl's under 19.
ESL is a member of CYSA-South, Presidio
and the United States Youth Soccer League. We participate
in and benefit from two local soccer tournaments, one for
each of our divisions. The
Encinitas Rotary Cup is sponsored by our local Rotary
Club and welcomes the participation of our Competitive Encinitas
Express teams. The
Commissioner's Cup, designed and headed by Toni DeCarlo,
a former ESL coach, was created specifically so that the ESL
and surrounding communities Recreational teams would have
a wonderful tournament to play in at the end of their season.
Encinitas Soccer League has a dedicated
Board of Directors. As an all-volunteer organization we welcome
and encourage parent participation so that we can continue
to improve as a club and provide the best soccer experience
for the soccer players in our community. Please CLICK
