Crystal Dirks grew up in East County San Diego playing competitive soccer.  During her collegiate years she played Division 1 soccer for the University of Akron. She majored in Civil Engineering and coached a local competitive soccer team.  As a goalkeeper, she values the importance of communication on and off the field.  Crystal can always be found on a field whether soccer or softball and has a passion for empowering girls and instilling a love of sport.

COACHING PHILOSOPHY

My coaching philosophy is to instill a love of the game so that the children continue to play even as adults.  The love of the game is what keeps you working hard even through adversity.  I love to challenge my players to work hard but also be creative.
