Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper. Unlimited substitutions are permitted. Unlike some other forms of indoor soccer, the game is played on a hard court surface delimited by lines; walls or boards are not used. Futsal is also played with a smaller ball with less bounce than a regular soccer ball due to the surface of the field. The surface, ball and rules create an emphasis on improvisation, creativity and technique as well as ball control and passing in small spaces.

Express Soccer Club has organized a Spring Futsal League for all competitive players born 2010-2016.  Teams will be coed and all games will be played on Saturdays at the San Dieguito Boys & Girls Club gym in Encinitas.  Teams will be coached by Express competitive coaches. This is a great way to get touches on the ball!  We have also included three futsal clinics in your registration fee to get your game off to a great start! Also, all players will receive an Express Futsal T-shirt.

This is a popular program so don't wait to register! Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis! Express players will have first priority to be placed on teams. Non-Express players will be placed on a wait list upon registration.  We will notify you if you receive a spot.  If you don't receive a spot, we will send you a refund.

Cost: $165 per player

Games will be on Saturdays starting March 9th and will go through May 4th.  All games will be played at the Encinitas Boys & Girls Club.
