Modesto brings over 30 years of international and local coaching experience to Express. He has experience in coaching both boys and girls of all ages and various levels of ability. He is a great mentor, has a positive attitude, and has always taught his players never to give up.
Coaching Philosophy:
"I base my coaching on creating a fun environment based on reciprocal coach/player respect. In my 34 years of coaching, I have found that to get the best performance from a player, a coach must be able to establish a connection with each individual player on the team.
One of my main focuses, especially in the beginning, is on individual capabilities and development, which then translates into a more confident person on and off the field. I'm a strong believer in team bonding and that in order to achieve the best results, a team must be comfortable around each other and learn to build each other up."
