Native to San Diego County with 10 years of coaching experience with children of all ages. John has coached both at the recreational level and competitive level at Vista Storm and City SC San Marcos, formerly San Marcos Revolution. He has been involved within clubs as a VP on the board and ran a successful Junior Referee program. He is a former Grade 8 referee with 5 years of experience refereeing our local youth soccer teams all over San Diego.

COACHING PHILOSOPHY:

"I believe that soccer is more than just a game. It is a way of life that teaches valuable lessons about teamwork, discipline, and resilience. As a coach, I want to inspire my players to enjoy the game, make lasting friendships, and pursue their dreams. I do not measure success by wins or losses, but by the growth and development of each individual player. I challenge them to improve every day, not only as soccer players, but as human beings. I create a positive and supportive environment where they can learn from their mistakes, celebrate their achievements, and have fun along the way. Coaching is not just a job for me, it is a passion and a privilege. I love what I do, and I hope to share that love with my
players and the community."
